Welcome to the Award-Winning, Timely and Provocative Great Decisions Series!

NEW! Armchair Discussion Format . . . We’ve presented this series in Lecture; PowerPoint and Panel Discussion formats. This year we are adding the Armchair Discussion Format. More informal than the others, the presenter makes 15-20 minutes of brief remarks then has a follow-up discussion and question session with a moderator. The moderator then invites questions from the audience. This format allows the speaker to address the audience’s areas of interest quicker. As always, let us know what you think!

NEW! $10 Email Memberships . . . your membership pays for itself when you attend just two events a year. See membership details in last section in this brochure . . .

NEW! “Like” us on the World Affairs Council of Western Michigan Facebook page (go to our website www.worldmichigan.org and click on Facebook logo). Follow links to:

  • in-depth information on our featured speakers
  • up-to-date news on each topic
  • local, national, and international organizations related to each topic
  • recommended readings for each topic

NEW! Join the Facebook conversation:

  • post questions or comments about the topic before the event
  • continue the discussion after the event.
